Should i pay to have sirius radio professionally installed or try it myself?

  1. It's pretty easy to install.  Most receivers have detailed instructions.


  2. I have XM, but the differences are small.  Installation is pretty easy, I think any reasonably intelligent person ought to be able to handle it.  And I love satellite radio.  Worth every penny!

  3. Unless you are planning on some kind of hard wire job of wiring the siletto into the factory radio, you can do the job if you can follow directions to put say a computer or TV together as it's comparable in difficulty.

  4. i do agree with glenbarrington^^^ but it also depends on your car, some cars it is easier to find ways to mount the antenna, and find way to get it outside.

    If it is Cheap, go ahead and get it done by a pro, but if you are even just a hint a handy person, you could probably do it your self.
