After i completed my junior year of football, actually halfway through the season I decide I wasn't going to play my senior year and was instead going to workout and prepare for baseball.I had a great baseball season(nominated for 1st team all sj and carpenter cup) and this made my decision final but lately many people are telling me I should play but they dont realize that baseball is my future and I believe the only way to get a scholarship from a good school is to continue doing what I planned. I am a kicker with good leg strength(45-48yd range) and extremely accurate from 40yds and in. I have really been thinking this over lately and am very curious, should i play football or not? I know this is my decision but I would like to hear what others think.

  1. for 1 ur a kicker and 2 ur a lying piece of c**p

  2. Play football, youll get in shape and stronger for baseball and you can get either a kicking scholarship OR if say FOR EXAMPLE the Florida Gators baseball team  was interested in you, but didn't think you were quite good enough to give you a scholarship, the football team might give you a scholarship and you could get a "spot" on the  baseball team without costing the baseball team a scholarship. Also, you could get a Football scholarship and then walk on to baseball, or maybe get a joint scholarship(if they have that), like the baseball and football teams could work something out to get you a scholarship.

  3. Neither,  quit school and get a job and join the real world.

  4. OMG Tony B what is up with you! Stop being like that! He's just jealous.

Can't you play both or does it interfere with eachother?

  5. Look at it this way man, later in life are you going to be saying, "d**n i wish i would have played my senior year."

  6. i think u should dude u could play on sundays with a leg like that most college kids cant kick that far!

  7. I'd play both, but it depends on what you love most. Baseball or football. Most likely, you won't go pro in either one. Kickers don't really get injured that much, so it doesn't matter.

  8. If your a pitcher id run cross country instead.  Its great to build up leg strengh and some of the top prospects listed running as the thing that helped them the most.  Other then that, go on and play football.  you have the entire winter to get ur arm into shape.
