Should i purchase a snowboard?

Question

I go snowboarding maybe few times a year or more. Should i think about getting one? When i go to the mountain, rentals and passes cost for like $80.

If you go only a few times, no because if you are under 18 the boots won't fit you after some years and you will waste money.

If you are older, yes buy the equipment.

I was debating the same thing a few years ago because I only snowboarded like 5 or so times a year. I did end up buying one and I'm soo glad I did because the rentals are c**p compared to a new board. You will probably end up saving money by the 2nd year and your board will last you way longer than that. So yeah I strongly recremend you buy one if you are positive you are going to stick with snowboarding.

Go ahead and buy one on boxing day or someting. It saves you a lot of money and time renting those stinky equipment.
