Question:

Should i pursue a career in journalism?

i'm a little unsure on whether i should pursue a career in journalism... i really enjoy writing but i heard tat it doesn't pay very well. can anyone convince me if i should be a journalist?

also, what would be the best colleges to apply for if i do decide to take up journalism?

  1. About 99 percent of those who pursue journalism don't do it for the money, and if that's something that concerns you, I wouldn't suggest it. I pursued journalism because it started as something I wanted to perfect, became something I was good at and later, something I realized I loved.

    But I'm definitely on a budget.

    Schools if you decide to do it: University of Missouri-Columbia (most reputable place for less money.)

    Just remember, if you decide to do it, it really shouldn't matter where you get your degree from. It matters that you can do the job.
