Should i put chlorine in a small family pool?

well my pool is little and i feel i shouldnt put chlorine but my family does. Should i put in a little or nothing at all?

  1. Yes, otherwise your "little pool" will become a "little pond". If you don't mind a lot of maintenance and want to avoid the harshness of chlorine, try using bromine as an alternative. It's a lot more expensive, but it's nicer on the skin too.

  3. It depends on how small the pool is. I used to have a pool that was small, but still big enough to swim in, about 18ft. by 15ft. We used to put a thing called shock in it. It worked to keep it clean but you have to wait at least 4 hours before getting in or else it might harm you with the chemicals.
