Should i put metal edges on the side of my snowboard box?

You should use HDPE if you use metal it will catch, the liquid nails suggestion is good though you should def use that. HDPE is High Density Polyethylene. It will last forever and be solid. All the resorts have switched from metal to HDPE. You might be able to pick some up at Lowes, Home Depot, a local hardware or plastics store. If not try www.mscdirect.com. Hope it turns out just the way you want it bro.

Yeah metal sides would be sweet, you should make them come in at like a 45 degree angle or so instead of straight up that would be cool I think, I havent seen it much. Throw some color on your box too! I am itching to get out of this desert and into some snow!

use liquid nails, look for the extreme temperature kind.  Or drill holes into the metal, but be sure to sink the screws.
