  1. Before you decide whether or not to quit your job answer a few questions first.

    1.  Is there a second source of stable income: your spouse's income,  regular annuity checks coming in, lottery checks, etc.

    2.  If you quit your job today would you have enough money in the bank to sustain you for at least six (6) months.

    3.  Is there a wide availability of open jobs in your current field?  Would it be easy for you to find another job quickly?

    4. If you want to continue to work, in another company, have you put out any feelers?  Have you let other companies know that you are looking to change companies?

If there is a steady income, and your income, while it would be missed, would not hurt your financial arrange much. i.e. you can still have your bills paid and not worry about eviction, late payments, reposessions, then discuss it with your spouse and/or significant other first.

Perhaps you can explain to your supervisor that emotional stress that you are dealing with and ask if you can take a leave of absense for a couple of weeks or go on your vacation early.

Whatever the situation is, in this current job market, the safest bet is to stay with the job until

    (a) you have a sure replacement job

    (b) you can live for several months on just the money in your checking/savings account without any detrimental effects to your credit score, to your bills, to your family.

    (c) if there is a second source of income, discuss it with your spouse or significant other and if the household can survive without your additional income then return to being an economic engineer (aka homemaker)

  2. you could always get another job....

  3. if your having all those problems then yes. but if it means so much for you to stay in that job then don't give up. good luck : )

  4. i think you should do whats best for you and that you should do whats up to you

  5. Suck it up or get a different job.

  6. Well you shouldn't quit your job just because of that.. cuz if you do and you don't fix the problem now then it would just continue untill the day you actually fix it... So pretty much don't quit your job.. and thats life man.. even I have to go to work with those kinds of problems... and yeah... I rather keep the job then later move out. then stay home with mom not making any money for myslef...

  7. i think that you should

  8. If your not happy, yes.

  9. if u have enough money already

  10. You already know what you want to do.

  11. if you are starting to get wrose i would stay home...also if you have an episode at work...you would have alot of public embrassment....

  12. Well, it depends on a lot of factors.  Do you need the income or health insurance from this job?  I'm not sure what you meant by "pt" in your question.  Have you sought medical treatment for your physical and psychological problems?  What does your significant other say about your job and your status?  Only you can decide if perhaps another type of job is one you'd be better suited for.  Or do you not want to work outside the home at all?  Prefer to do childcare in your home?  Considering Welfare?

    yeah

  14. go home

  15. You should do whatever you think is right in your situation. I don't know your financial situation so I can't really give you advice. If you can get another job that you think is right then go for it. If you can't get another job and you can afford quitting then go for it.

  16. you need to get out 13 years at home is to much, it my seem to much to fast but in time you will get back in th grove

  17. The way the economy is...be glad you have a job.

  21. Yes! If it is going to help you than you should.  Working in a job isn't worth hurting our bodies in physical and psychological weighs it can really be the end to us in the long run! So yes you should! : )

  22. i say do what makes u happy... just dont get lazy...but if staying home helps u mentally than u should do it...

also consider if ur family can do with out ur job financially first... u dont want to be messed up in the head and broke... that makes everything so much worse...
