  1. It might not be such a great idea to rejoin if you're not going to give it your all every time.  I encourage you to do it if you love it, but don't waste your parent's money, the coach's time, and your time to be unhappy.

  2. If its something you love to do, you should be out there doing it, dont  worry about what other people think, and just make a schedule to keep up with school, now that its summer, its a great time to start u can get better by practicing, more n then when school starts up u can  lower it a bit

  3. It's hard for a parent to justify all that money spent on skating lessons for you to just quit again. Skating lessons are very expensive.

If you really and truly want to return to the sport, let your parents know and talk to them on what your goals are and commit to it!  When school starts, drop your skating down to only once a week. At least that way you won't lose what you have learned.

    Good luck!

  4. I think if you're doing it because you love it, it's worth it.  Do it when you can.  Check into group lessons on weekends and maybe try to get to the rink at least one other day for practice.  During the summer and school breaks, you can probably dedicate more time to skating.  Or if you have a ton of activities now, maybe pick and choose which ones you want to continue and if you'd rather skate than put time into another activity you're in.  It's all about balance.  If you really want to do it, you'll find the time.  Good luck!  :)
