Should i reqister for an SAT or an ACT test ?

I want to study & become a dermatoloqist . Im a junior in hiqh school so I need to reqister. Which one do you think is better ? Whats the difference between the two ? What are some qood medical universities that i should apply to ?

The SAT is an aptitude test that tests general critical thinking skills such as reading, math, and writing.  The questions can be tricky, and much of test requires strategy.  The ACT's material is much more straight-forward in that it teaches material taught in most secondary schools.  Both include a writing section in which you need to write an essay in a limited amount of time.  

To give you a better view of the two tests, here are sample hard math question from the SAT and a medium from the ACT.

SAT:

A. 2

ACT:

As you can see, the SAT question is much more trickier than the ACT question.  The answer to the SAT question is 5; the answer to the ACT is -1.

As you can see, neither test is "better."  Just take the test you think you would do better on after taking a few practice tests.  As for medical schools, you can search it on usnews.com, but right now, you should be concentrating on getting into a decent undergraduate school.

it really depends on you. Do you have very high intelligence?Then SAT is for you.

If you are textbook smart, then go for the ACT.

But in the end, try each test at least once.
