  1. no... they look like they would chafe(rub) & irritate the horses skin... they would also probably constrict movement of the hooves

  2. no i dont think u should. it could slip off and cause ur horse 2 trip or something

  3. No you should not ride in these.

  4. nope, too dangerous. since they're loose- fitting, they will more than likely slide off and your horse could step on them and trip.  and they'll probably get wrecked also if worn when ridden.

  5. Haha! I have never seen anything like those before!!

  6. No you should not ride in those. They are strictly turn out attire.

  7. no

  8. No i wouldn't no fly is gonna come near him when his legs are moving

  9. I personally wouldnt. You say they were $50, i wouldnt want them to get ruined. Plus, they could fly off and scare your horse, this could injure you and him. Those are funny looking though.

  10. I definatly wouldn't. They could cause all kinds of problems. He could get rubmarks or even cuts from them, spook at them hitting his legs (which could possible cause him to have a problem with other things hitting his legs), or even trip on them. Also, when riding, you wont really need them. While he's moving, the flies won't bother him as much. If flies seem to be a problem while riding without them, then flyspray him.

  11. I wouldn't ride with them on. The flies won't go near your horse's legs so long as he's moving. Take them off when you tack up, and when you go to put him back outside, put them back on.

  12. i have those ....they arnt worth diddly squat!!!

worst thing i have EVER got for my horses!!!

Yah they might of been 50 bucks but the velcro comes off to easy and make my horses fetlocks look kinda funny

  13. no I would say take them off before riding, More liable to trip or get hurt.

  14. Absolutely not!!!! The loose fitting material would be incredible easy for the horse to get caught up in and trip, fall, tumble, go head over heels and not from joy...take your pick. I wouldn't even turn my horse out in the field with them, in case he decided to get playful and have a good run. It's the equivalent of a person tripping on their own shoelaces. Also, by keeping a horse covered up like that, instead of becoming more desensitized to flies they have the tendency to become hyper-sensitive when they're not on. Anyway, to directly answer your question...I'd only ride in them if I had a death wish.

  15. Please don't ride in these, and why would you want to, anyway?

As long as the horse is in some sort of motion, the flies will not go near him. And the material is much too loose. If it slips down, your horse could easily trip and fall, causing pain for both of you.

You can have them on when you're tacking up, but take them off before you ride.
