Should i run XP instead of Vista on my laptop to increase my battery life?

  1. Vista has some problem I would dual boor installing both using XP an Vista on some box


  2. dude ... what? How do you think that would help... i'd run xp just because vista sucks :)...  personally i'd rather run 2000  or 98 opposedto vista  

  3. I dont think running XP will increase your battery life. Why do you think the O/S will make a difference in ur battery life?

  4. The difference is not that much, but I would not run Vista at all.

  6. yes it will increase ur battery life but vista graphics are awesome as compared to xp

Definitely do not waste your money doing this; if you want the battery life of vista turn off all the visuals of vista (windows aero, which is how you can see through the bars among other visual upgrades).  This will give you the battery life of XP, but usually your computer does this automatically if you set your computer to power saver when you unplug.
