my sis got herpes when she was 15 from an ex-boyfriend of hers. she is now in a relationship with someone else and ive come to find out that she hasn't told him anything. he recently told her that he's been burning when he's peeing and she decided to use that opportunity to make him think that he gave it to her. that's really jacked up and i would like to know if i should tell him something or leave it alone.

  1. I am all about blood is thicker than water, but when it comes to passing on a disease to others, that is where the line has to be drawn.

Plus, I recall some articles where ppl sued when they found out they got herpes from someone else who knowingly had it.  Your sister is just asking for trouble.

  2. sorry not your business- she is your sister and you must not stab her in the back it is too late he already has been exposed - you gain nothing by telling him she had it first, you only hurt him and her - it doesnt matter he already could have it so let it go - blood is thicker than water - this is not aids we are talkimng abo0ut

  3. that's messed up. she's a conniving little ******. you should definitely tell him. it's her obligation to tell her partners that she has an std

  4. If he's burning when he's peeing but doesn't have any of the symptoms of herpes (i.e. small blisters) then it might not even be herpes. Even if it is then it's not something you should worry that much about, it's just a skin condition that is not serious and most people will end up with at least one form of it.

It's up to your sister if she wants to tell him about her HSV status, she definitely shouldn't be lying and blaming him for it though. Try to encourage him (via your sister) to get whatever it is checked out at the doctor's, and tell your sister to stop being so immature about it. Ultimately though, it's not like she's spreading around a serious STD like HIV or anything, so respect her privacy.
