I worked for a place for 11 years had carpel tunnel surgery on one hand. the hand i haven't had the surgery on the fingers are always numb, but i also have tendinitis in that elbow which is very pain full, the doctor gave me cortisone shots for 3 years in the elbow every couple of months. i used my personal insurance for this and paid for the co pays and meds on my own. when they refused to give me anymore cortisone shots because the joint was degenerating they said its time for surgery, so i filled Workman's comp they refused it because there is a 2 year statute of limitations on it, i didn't want to put it on my insurance cause there is a 20% copay. well i got fired cause they have a point system even if you have a Dr's excuse you get a point, half of my points were due to this elbow thing, the dr said it is work related also, i live in ohio should i sue?

  1. You have a good case, the problem, you are past your statue of limitations to sue. However, you may still be able to file suit in small claims court.

  2. i would -- other wise the medical bills will bankrupt you!!!

  3. Why did you use your own insurance..........should have been comp from day one............now your out..........
