  1. you would probally get more if you put a fresh top end. people just like the way that sounds.

  2. It seldom provides the financial benefit of an increased price for a bike when selling if it has been rebuilt.  The cost of the rebuild will exceed the increased value.

There is the personal satisfaction of selling a well maintained bike but that does not out weigh the financial cost.

  3. To be honest, you would probably get more for it if you fixed it up. Whether this increase would justify all the work, the answer is probably not. However, if the bike is running then you will have more interest and will sell it faster.

When you factor in all the time it would take to advertise and wait for people to call, and from the inevitable tyre-kickers who are looking for an easy project, I think it would be quicjker, easier and cheaper to fix it up and sell it.

  4. if i were u i would just selll people r prob gonna pay u about the same as they would even if u rebuilt it and some people think if u rebuilt it then something was prob wrong with it and it might be nothing but probs but thats ure choice......:)

  5. Just get it to run and sell it, they will most likely rebuild it them selves and you won't get that much more for it anyway.

It wouldn't be worth the time.
