Should i sell my 'fat' psp and buy the 'slim&light' psp?

My old one has the latest custom firmware and everything works perfectly. But it has dust right infront of the screen, it freaks me out!

So..i was planning to sell the old and buy the new one..is it ok? Is it even right thing to do considering the firmware and all?

It all depends if u are a hardcore psp fan if u were u should but if u are going to hack that one it may be of a hassle cause u will need a Pandora battery and some of the hacks only work with the phat psp
