  1. let em breed, and sell em back to the fish store!

  2. Yes, but keep in mind that female guppies can store sperm from a single mating for up to 6 months, so if they've already been with males, they may be pregnant and may still drop fry for quite a while, even after being seperated.  Guppies can really breed like crazy!

It sounds like your male may be a half black pastel guppy.  Half blacks are quite common and come with many different color variations.  Here is a link to a picture of a half black pastel guppy.

Is this what your male looks like?  I have one of those, although mine is not quite as blindingly white as the one in that picture looks!

  3. Yes, that is a normal color. As far as separation goes, timing is everything. You can't just put them in a tank together and then watching them instantly breed. It will take time, keep that in mind when you want them to. But, if you really don't want them to breed just yet, the best thing you can do is to just separate them, and then put them back together around the time you want them to breed. Don't forget....guppies eat their offspring. Separate them as soon as the fry are born.

  4. If you don't want them to breed, separate them.   Also, when the babies are born, separate them from the adults because the adults will cannibalize the babies.

  5. yes but i have  to go now i have to apply for my unicorn hunting licence
