  1. Usually, shaving is done by swimmers when they're competing in championship meets.  It's done for speed.  I wouldn't think you'd need to shave for waterpolo.

  2. dont do it! you might swim a little faster but its not worth it!!! my bro did it and now i doesn't grow back! ukkkkkkkk it will even affect you when your older!!! dont do it!!! please please!!!!!!! DONT YOU DARE DO IT!!!!!!!!!! thank you!

  3. um probably not. who cares if your hairyer. durning swim season ( at least at my school) all the guys have to shave  their legs head  arms chest (and even one year AN eyebrow) so if i were do i wont.

  4. Most people who are on swimming or water polo teams shave their legs. I'm 14 and have a lot more hair than most of my friends so i know how you feel. Personally I could never understand why anybody really needed to shave their legs, I mean, I don't think it could really make you swim faster (it might make a difference for speed swimming but for water polo I don't think it would matter). So overall I would do what makes you feel the most comfortable doing. People shouldn't judge you based on what you did. Do what is the best for you!

  5. its for swimming, it makes less resistance when moving. you dont exactly do as much racing in water polo than at a swim meet. my advice would be no, unless you are a swimmer.( as in swim team.) you will regret it. not to be like akward, but as a girl i would know, it really grosses girls out when they see guys with shaven armpits, (yuck) arms, legs, etc. You will regret it dude trust me. It either grows back all fury and wat-not or doesnt at all. It's really upta u dude. But I vote No.

  6. yes

  7. If you're going for speed, shaving makes a difference. A good bit of a second, which is huge in swimming, not sure about waterpolo, though.

  8. you would swim faster

  9. NO! That's for swimming, not water polo - and that may not even make you go faster for swimming.  Shaving is not something that you do for water polo.  If going faster in water polo was that important then they might use those new swimsuits.  Those suits are only used for swimming.  I don't know any water polo players who shave for polo.

Just don't worry about it - they probably just don't grow hair very well on their legs.
