  1. i am a girl hunter myself and this doesn't look like a great deer to hunt it is too skinny for me and it has no meat on its bones. ♥

  2. Depends

In central and south Florida that would be considered a very good deer

Anywhere else it's a bit skinny

    =============

Don't just TD these silly little girls with their anti huntning rants and insults

Report them so they will go away

    Except twilight

    She's really funny

At least we get to see the extent of YA's double standard

Every one of the no question no answer antis were reported and everyone even the ones that used insults and suggested the the asker shoot himself are still here

I answered a question about the value of a gun by telling the asker I'd give him $x*x  and was deleted for solicitation

  3. At least wait til Hunting season!*

  4. shot it now you never know what tommorrow will bring and food might be scarce next year so yeah

  5. If it puts food on the table then yeah why not

  6. If your Hunting for big antlers then wait a year if your hunting for meat then take him now he will be prime eating.

  7. Wow Logan, you sure stirred up the Vegan Trolls, Anti-hunting trolls and limp wrists.

The shot is yours, make it or wait...your decision.

  8. wait another year if it is in serious pain take it to a vet and then if they will tell you the results. wait another year if it is not hurt

  9. Q: Should i shoot this deer or wait another year?

A: If you need the venison shoot the deer so long as it is in season, legal and you are legally hunting.  There's no guarantee that the deer will be there next year.  If you don't shoot it another hunter will.

  10. take it- that is a beautiful rack.

as for eating, they get quite a bit gamier later on

  11. if you live in the south where the deer don't get as big as they do here up north............then it is a dandy........take him

  12. You'll have to ask yourself a few questions.

Will someone else harvest it? Do you want to risk it?

Depending on where you are, that deer still has a lot of potential. If I were you I'd try my hardest to keep an eye on it and get to know him a little bit. Two more years and he'll be at his peak. You could wait longer. The mark of a skilled hunter lies not in the size of the antlers, but in the age of the buck. The old ones are smart. Smarter than most of us. Keep at it.

Anti-hunters: Go garden or something. I'm sure there's an animal bi-product somewhere in your computer.

  13. If you can get a clean shot then yes. Looks like it would eat good.

  14. Depends. What do you want to get from shooting him? If it's just the thrill of the hunt and some meat, go for it. If you're trying for a trophy to mount, I'd wait another year.

  15. id wait it can get bigger.

  16. I suppose that's a local question. Where I live, it wouldn't even be a question, and he'd walk. Looks like a yearling, perhaps a two-year-old, and he'd likely have to wait another two years to be worth thinking about.

  17. Hes a 6 pointy, and hes kinda scrawny.......

I guess, but i would wait another year or 2 if you can resist him.....i couldnt...not for 2 years.....

But yes wait a  year or so...

    ------------------

And good job bringing the trolls around. Its good to see they STILL dont have anything better to do with their lives....

  18. Well if I were to agree with the anti-hunters I guess that would mean not to shoot it, instead let a wolf rip it apart and eat it alive screaming in agony.

    But I don’t.

I say take it and enjoy some venison! :)

  19. I'd shoot it now while the meat is still tender has a nice rack too.  Chances are that if you don't shoot it now then someone else will

  20. This is a young buck he's needs another year And I'll bet If food sources are good he will Be a nice 10 point next year

  21. Do you have a riffle now? If YES, then go ahead, otherwise don't simply talk now... Life is no waiting. Act now.

  22. DO NOT SHOOT A POOR HELPLESS DEER!!!

  23. You shouldnt pass up on any animal unless you dont need the meat  people that hunt only for horns cant call themselves real hunters but if i saw a big buck standing by a little buck i would take the bigger deer. Hunt for food take the deer

  24. Wait untill full rut, this deer is too skinny. When it is in full rut this deer will be really good. If not wait a year

  25. What?

    Don't shoot it,

and what's with the "wait another year"??

Oh and god don't shoot it.

It has a life as well.

  26. NOOOOO WAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! DON'T KILL ANY ANIMALS!!!!

  27. Aren't you glad we don't give guns to deer?

You have the picture now let the deer keep his life.

  28. No expert here, but he looks like he could use another year or two for maximum trophy potential. If all your thinking about is harvesting the animal for the sake of saying "I got one", then by all means go ahead. Don't let the thought of other hunters having less development in the Trophy Stage make you come down to their level.

  29. How does he scale for the area you're in? Around here he'd be small and i'd give him another year to grow. If he's big for your area take him if he's small give him a year to fill out that rack and put some meat on his bones.

I love these questions...really brings all the emo kids and ugly chicks out of the wood work.....barbie my ***, you're probably a freakn cow.

  30. i would wait 1 more year but no later than that. the horns are good but the body size is small so give it another year to fill out

  31. I WOULD WAIT BECAUSE YET IT HAS A REALLY GOOD RACK IT'S STILL ALITTLE ON THE SMALL SIDE!! AS FAR AS WEIGHT GOES!! IF IT WERE ME I'D LET IT GROW SOMEMORE!! ALTHOUGH IF I WERE TO SEE A DEAR THAT SIZE WHEN I WAS OUT HUNTING I'D BE TEMPTED TO LOL!!!
