  1. You can LIVE with the ganglion cyst. I am.  Yes it is irritating at times, but you can live with it.  Unless it reallly hurts bad, Dont do it , it's delicate surgery.  Is it on the front or back of your wrist?

Typing, texting has nothing to do with it coming back and surgery  no guarantee that you will feel better.

I say Do not do the surgery. You don't need it yet.

Join the Army and if it bothers you then, then consider it.

Seriously, I thought that having surgery on my left arm for a tumor/blood clot would help, well I needed 2 more following and it was all in 1 years time.  My left arm was never the same.  It is still painful and I just would hate to see you in misery

    but listen ok

I am trying to discourage you...however, I dont know anything about it- is it on the inside of you wrist or the back of it

I have one on the inside and some days i want my hand cut off, but I am so afraid to do anything..

wanna talk about it?  I wouldnt mind!

this is just a cyst  and  i would ask for shots of cortisone or lidocaine. and pass on surgery ...

Join the Army first and take care of it later- when you may not have to pay so much!

  2. well it depends really on what caused the cyst. most people type and text all the time and have no problems with cysts so i would say take it easy for a couple of days maybe a week on typing and texting but not all together. hope i helped.
