Should i start looking for another job?

my boss is out of the office all the time, then comes back and tells me i haven't done anything while he has been gone, then he came up to me last week and said i can't afford to pay you your whole paycheck this week is half ok now and ill give you the rest next week...then i didnt get the next half until about 2 weeks later...is it it time to look elsewhere?

Get out of there now.  And if your boss doesn't give you the entire amount of your pay due within 24 hours, contact your state labor commission or its equivalent.  Some states may allow more time, but not very much.

Your employer is probably going to close his doors very soon anyhow, and might try to avoid paying you and put you on his list of creditors, which means you might wait months to get paid, get less than you're owed, or get nothing at all if he's drained the business of money and assets.
