if i remember right, i drafted them in the 11th and 12th rounds. I was just looking threw my lineup looking for anything new, and i realized that i had both of them. I also remember last year, i played a team that was of the cowboys. romo, jones, barber,etc...and they always started julius jones, and marion barber. they always scored close to 100 points weekly. So is that a smart idea to start mendenhall and parker since pittsburgh will run hte ball??

  1. if you have to choose one, go with Parker. As for starting both, it all depends on who your other running back is. Mendenhall is only a rookie but he is pretty sick. If your other RB isn't that great i would start both, that way you're always covered no matter who is running the ball

  2. Absolutely they will both start and they might score the 100 points weekly like barber and jones last year

  3. Yuk, don't like your RBs!  Trade Parker for Forte or T.Jones.  Keep Mendenhall just in case.

  4. willie parker period ........

  5. It's way too early to know.

Parker's coming off a broken leg, so Mendenhall should get a lot of carries "right out of the box".

I don't often like to play two platoon backs at the same time.  It can work very well, or if they have a tough game against a good rushing defense, you can get shut down badly.

You'll want to play the most favorable matchups week to week.  If Mendehall becomes a consistent goalline back, there may be times where playing both makes sense.
