  1. if thats all she can pay then just leave it at that. she needs money to pay for other things like the house, gas, electric, etc.

and 60 dollars is way to much. no ones gonna hire you if you're gonna charge that much. but if you take the job and get more babysitting jobs, the money's gonna add up. and if you still want more money talk to her about maybe 20-25-30. something like that. but not to much.

  2. Usually there is a certain rate per hour for babysitting.  I'm not sure what the average rate is, but you could probably find it out.  I'm sure you want to help your mom's friend out...but $15 isn't a whole lot for a whole week!

That link might help you out with the rate to charge.

  3. well that's ur choice do u love kids  or not  kids can be bad

or nice it's ur call wether u want to or not

  4. yes take the job, and tell them what you think is a fair price

  5. i think you should definitely take it. 15 isnt' alot of money but at least its something. Maybe thats all they can afford and they're desperate. after the first week or so talk to your mom or your mom's friend about raising the price to about 50 dollars a week.

  6. No No No! You need to get paid a least 5.00 a hour. Do not let her take advantage of you. You are obviously old enough for her to trust you to babysit so you should get paid a fair amount. Five an hour is what I got paid when I was 12 and I'm 25 now. The pay rate is around 7 an hour +  now so she is getting a deal. If she wants you for a set schedule five days a week then  she needs to pay you at least $5 an hour no matter what.  You should get paid $100.00. If you will settle for $60.00 that $3.00 an hour that is up to you. If she pays you $15.00 for 20 hours you will be working for .75 cents an hour. That's not even a dollar an hour!!!

  7. 15 bucks for a week is pretty cheap.  but... how old are you.  realize you dont have the skills nor the mentality of an adult as far as taking care of a child.  id take what you can get and dont be too greedy.  i would try for at least 40 a week at the least.  that is deal a heck of a deal for this woman.

  8. 15 is like nothing.

ask for a more reasonable price.

she should pay by the hour.
