I'm 13, nearly 14. A few of my friends wear it but some of my friends dont- the ones who have perfect skin with no marks on it. My skin isnt that gud, i hav a few freckles n a few pimples.

I'm scared that if i do i'll get even more pimples, (is it genetic? cos my sister has alot). I dont want more pimples but i would love to wear make-up, can u recommend anything? any tips?

thanx!! oh and 10 points will be given out.

  1. just wear some mineral foundation. its far better for your skin then normal foundation is as it allows your skin to breathe and it wont clog your pores.

there are heaps of good mineral foundations out at the moment.

try loreal bare naturale gentle mineral foundation.

remember its best to buy good brands rather then cheap

ones as they are worse for your skin.

maybe even try and get a good cleanser and toner and Moisturiser aswell.

    hope i helped

ps- just get it from your local Beauty shop ect. easy

  2. im 13 and im turning 14 in january :]

i wear makeup. be sure to visit my site for lots of tips and tricks.

wearing makeup doesnt really cause pimples if you wash it off thoroughly everyday.

i just use a pressed powder. i like mac's studio fix powder. or you can use a tinted moisturizer. i use macs studio fix fluid and mix it with dramatically different moisturizer to make a really light tinted moistuizer sometimes. all you really need is a pressed powder on your nose and forehead though.

if you are naturally flushed like i am, then you dont need blush. if you arent then i recommend using a lip/cheek stain. depending on your budget, you can try revlons just bitten lip stain or benefits posietint. i love posietint. just apply a little to the apples of your cheeks and blend quickly. then apply a dab to your lips and blend. it lasts all day and makes a very natural color. then apply a clear lipgloss or any color lip gloss you prefer.

i like using different eyeshadows to match my clothes/accessories. play up one feature at a time. dont go overboard on the lips and eyes. one day play up the eyes and the other on the lips. keep the rest natural. i like getting bold eyeshadows and wetting an eyeliner brush to make a bold eyeliner. if you want to keep it all natural then i recommend taking a medium brown eyeshadow and putting it in the outer creases of your eyes.

use one coat of mascara for the daytime and two for night events. curl your lashes first in three sections. at the base of the lashes, in the middle of your lashes and at the ends. do not clamp hard. use a medium pressure so you dont pull and damage your lashes. then apply mascara at the bases and wiggle it out to the ends.

do not use black eyeliner if you are pale. its too harsh. i personally dont like wearing black eyeliner or brown eyeliner because its too tark for me.

  3. You might want to watch out for mineral oil in your products then. yes sometimes it is genetics, but you never know really.

I'd advise minerals , PURE not those seen on tv. A great priced one is avon or http://www.smokymountainminerals.com/hom...

their primer is even good, it looks like a light layer of clear make up & looks good alone.

it has zinc & helps your skin,....

  4. Limit your makeup to your eyes and lips. Face makeup is bad for your skin at your age.

  5. I suggest using mineral make up. Glo minerals has excellent make up. it's good for your skin.  It even has SPF in it.

  6. im 15 i get your problem try mascara eye liner and lip gloss

  7. actually having family members with acne can mean that you are more likely to have acne, but it hasn't been proven that it's due to genetics.

you're still a teenager, going through puberty, i wouldn't recommend wearing foundation, but a tinted moisturizer which is lighter and allows your skin to breathe. i really like MAC's Select Tint, it's light but gives enough coverage and won't break you out. for eye makeup i'd just go for mascara, but if you want to wear eyeliner try not to wear black, go for a brown since it's much more natural.

  8. I know exactly what you feel like. I use Bare Minerals and it's amazing. It doesn't feel cakey at all. I think that will be perfect for you =-)

    (P.S. Keep it simple!!!)

  9. don't go crazy with makeup, try just a light coat.

no acne is not genetic but it is normal. youll get it when you go through puberty. try going to the drug store and buying face cleansing pads. that will take off the makeup at the end of the day and clean your face

  10. You can try using makeup and if you do breakout, just stop or try oxy pads or proactive. Both work well. Dont go crazy by making your face a cake face. Only cover up the spots that need to be covered or else you will get pimples. Taking a days off by not putting on makeup is good for your skin too by not clogging up pores.

  11. try oil free, fragrence free, sensitiv foundation.

  12. I RECOMMEND :

    - you should try and wash your face with a facial product and see if your pimples go away

    - then find a good make up , not a cheap brand or anythinq because those are the ones that make you break out

    - wear just a little bit of makeup

           a. too much makeup could give the wrong impression at such a young age

           b. when you can see some one`s make up its not attractinq at all

    - i have frekles too :] and with just a few dabs of foundation its like they were never there , no need to put pounds on .

hope this helps , cause it worked for me :D

    qood luck :]
