Should i stay with cheerleading or take the year off?

idk if i should stay with cheerleading or take the year off this is my first year on an all star team that is alot of money and i had to beg my dad into letting me join.. if i do quiet cause its only the summer and they didn't make up the routine yet it would save my dad money but I'm scared that in the winter i'm ganna miss it should i just stick through the year ? i'm confessed .

Take the year off. Cheerleading is a stupid, pointless, waste of time and energy.
