Should i still go to the beach even though its a little cloudy and the forecast calls for isolated thunderstor

i usually go a few times a week, and today is a day that i dont work until later...

  1. Absolutely, YES because normally when the forecast calls for an isolated thunderstorm, that is only about a 20 or 30% schance. Even if it does storm, couldn't you take shelter somewhere? Also, if it is cloudy, then that normally tends to lessen the chance of a thunderstorm, especially if the storms are formed by daytime heating. You see, on sunnier days, there is more heat to heat the ground up. Moisture from the heat then rises up as clouds and thunderstorms. If you don't have a lot of sun, then you don't have all that heating to go up into the clouds, so it is less likely to have a pop-up shower or thunderstorm. So yes, go enjoy your day at the beach.


  2. Absolutely!!  As long as there is a place for you to take shelter if it does storm. A chance of Isolated storms just means weather conditions are favorable for a storm to "Pop up." Keep your eye to the sky and Have fun :)
