  1. Don't do it.  If you want to make sure you have energy for your try outs then eat well about three hours before them.  Make sure you get your carbs and vitamins.

  2. Personally, I only use energy drinks for those pesky 11pm-11am shifts. Taking it five hours before a hockey game would drain you becuase you will crash. Try taking it half an hour before the game. I also heard that Darcy Tucker drinks massive amounts of coffee before each game. I guess Tim Horton's just lost a valuable customer...

  3. Eat a big plate of whole wheat pasta 3 hours before tryouts - that will give you maximum energy on the ice. Put it in tupperware and take it to school if you have too. Tomato sauce only - no meat or white sauces.

  4. You shouldn't use it before you know how you'll react to it.  Because if your body doesn't adjust well to it, you could totally s***w up your tryouts.  If you plan on using it, use it a few days before your tryout and see what happens.  If you react fine, then go for it.  If not, you know what to do.

  5. I've never tried it, but I have heard good things about it from a few of my friends. It sounds like a safe bet to me.

  6. drink about 10

  7. it wont hurt make sure you eat with it
