  1. We started traveling from Las Vegas, NV to San Francisco, CA when our son was a year and a half. He has always done awsome. When we first started traveling with him, he would sleep the whole way (8 hours.) But now he is 3 1/2 and he stays awake the whole time and loves the scenery.

  2. Yes, take her. If you leave out early in the morning, she'll sleep most of the morning and when she does awake, give her little things to do such as I spy or just read her a story. On rest breaks if there's a playground let her play on it to stretch her legs. As long as she's occupied most of the time's she's up, she'll be fine. Hope this helps.

  3. I have a 2 year old niece and I know that its difficult for her to go to our beach house when we go (its 5 hours away)... i dont know how far your trip is.  But If you really feel you need to I would suggest getting a portable DVD player (they have some that attatch to the headrest) and she would be entertained with that.  Also, if there are places to stop along the way.  But she will probably sleep a lot and she just needs a chance to get out of her carseat and stretch!

    Enjoy your trip!

  4. Yeah, You Should Take Her! Bring Colouring Books, Juice, Water, Portable DVD Player With Favourite Show, Sticker Book, Passports, Kids Music etc.

If You Want To, You Can Drive During The Night. Make Sure You Have Energy Drinks (Don't Get Addicted!) Coffee And Food (To Keep You Alert) Play Some Music, But Don't Wake Up Your Daughter!

Try To Stop At A Chuckie Cheese, Or A Restaurant Your Daughter Loves! She Will Be Happy If You Take Her To A Restaurant! Get Your Husband To Drive, And Read Her A Book She Likes (Or Vise Versa)

    --Good Luck--

  5. I wouldn't suggest it. We just took our 15 month old on a 7 hour car ride. We left early in the morning thinking she would sleep. She didn't she was awake the whole time and very crabby. She didn't want to ride in the car again.
