  1. The only problem I see is that she may have an allergic reaction, not because of the cork but because some kids are allergic to weird things.  Unless she is having an allergic reaction (which you would know by now), she will be fine, don't worry too much about it.

Do keep an eye open just in case it develops later.

  2. i would take her to the hospital just incase. and to be on the safe side.

  3. I would just to make sure...I mean- i your not at all worried then no. but to make sure yes- might be poisonous some-how.

  4. The real thin cork on coasters is usually glued on. Which means more than likely at least trace amounts of the glue residue were swallowed as well. I would take her in just to be safe since the glue used could have serious consequences. The cork itself wouldn't worry me so much. Cork is made of tiny particles that when rubbed or crushed break up. It shouldn't become obstructed because of that. But its always safer to have a medical professional assess the situation.

  5. Yes, you should take your child to the hospital. If your baby swallows anything that can't be chewed or can fit through an empty toilet paper roll. Your child could choke and can have serious pain! Take your baby to the doctor's for an appointment as soon as possible! Hope I helped and good luck!

  6. I would call the hospital or walk in clinic and ask to speak to a nurse and see what they have to say. Has she been acting fine since? If so she is probably fine, but I would put in a call to be sure because that (the cork) is one I have never heard of a child eating before.

  7. if she is having trouble breathing or it is obstructing her airway, take her in immediately. if you have any thoughts that it is harmful to her health take her to the hospital.

  8. you should to make sure shes ok.

  9. It sounds like she will be fine.  Save yourself a pricey visit to the ER and just watch her for another hour.  There is no reason these tiny pieces will hurt her. You are not a bad mom and love her dearly. Stay calm and enjoy the rest of your night!
