Should i take part in quiz contest?

Sure.  All intellectual challenges are good.  You learn better from things you miss than when you know everything.  You can even learn when someone else gets a wrong answer.  I once won a spelling bee by noting the EIGHT ways people misspelled dissension, and was able to spell it correctly by eliminating the wrong ways I had already heard.  And I will never forget how to spell that word.  Competition is a good impetus for learning.
