I have taken the SAT twice now and both times I have done poorly. I did do better the second time but not by much. and that was with taking classes and studying my butt off. So i am wondering should i just focus on trying to take the ACT?I hear that if your not good at the SAT your usually better at the ACT. i know i could take the SAT one more time but i don't know if it be worth it. should i just put my efforts into into preparing for the ACT? b/c i dont think im going to do any better on my SATS. i need to make a choice soon because i have to start applying to colleges in the fall.

  1. Well since you did poorly on the SATs you should definitely give the ACT a shot. Your not guaranteed a  good score on it. I think you should focus more on the ACTs. try looking over review books and if you took the princeton review course you could enroll in a refresher course.

  2. take the ACT more colleges accept that sat is stupid, everyone makes the sat sound so hard and important when its not the ACT very important too.

  3. I wouldn't say that people who don't do well on the SAT are usually better at the ACT because some people just do poorly on both, but it's definitely true some of the time (it was for me).  You should definitely put some effort into taking the ACT; I always recommend that people try both.  Also note that you may need SAT Subject Tests in order to apply for college, and if that's the case, your SAT Reasoning Test scores will also be sent.
