A fellow employee expressed to me that he knew how much I get paid and he also knew the amount of my paycheck. This really bothers me and I want to know should I make a complaint to the manager.

  1. Well, there's no un-ringing that bell. He knows what he knows.

The manager can't do anything about that, but she or he will want to know how the other employee came to know something like that. So when you complain to the manager, say something like "Other Employee mentioned to me that he knows how much I get paid and even the amount of my paycheck. Just wanted to let you know in case that's usually private and wasn't supposed to happen."

The manager will connect their own dots and investigate, since if he knew your pay it's likely he knows everybody else's, and if he isn't the accountant then he's probably a snoop.

  2. I think that you should tell the manager. This person knows your personal info.. who knows what else he has. Like your social security number or address... So you should let the manager know so he can get to the source of how he got your pay info...

  3. yes you should, you should also confront this employee he seems very very weird

  4. he might be having an affair with the manager
