  1. Don't do it. You could end up killed before Christmas. find another way to succeed in LIFE. You are prob a poor black male, or a poor white male and you see the money they offer and think cool. Next thing you're in a body bag. Think about what it will put your loved one's through. It's not a s**y or macho thing to do...it's stupid. Don't die for Bush's lies. You have to KNow he's lied over and over again. Don't go, tel the requiter you have changed your mind, and don't take no for an answer. They HAVE to et you out. I, John T, in upstate NY CARE about YOU. I don'y want you to DIE!

    Please reconsider.

  2. I'm sure right after he lubes up his finger to stick it up your a**, he will notice them anyways!

  3. first .. eeeeeeeeew

second ,, u have to tell him coz u er going to military and u have to do a surjry !!

  4. Treat them with Preparation H or something to reduce the swelling and pain.  It should not interfere with your physical as far as passing/failing. But they would tell you to treat them.

  5. You should address it at the physical. Its a common ailment though it probably isn't a problem.

  6. During your physical you will bend over and 'spread 'em'. If your hemorrhoid is external, it will be seen. You can see this for yourself with a mirror. A hemorrhoid won't keep you out of the service though.

  7. Hemorrhoids are pretty common.  If they don't cause pain or bleeding, what's the problem?  If they ever do give you discomfort, a supplement called Horse Chestnut Seed Extract is the best treatment I've found for hemorrhoids. It strengthens the blood vessels in the legs and anal area.  You can get it at a health food store for 2 or 3 dollars a bottle.

  8. You don't have to disclose any medical information to your recruiter.  Once you arrive at the MEPS Station, to test and review what career options are available to you, you will also undergo a physical.  At that time, you will fill out a medical history form.   It is at that time, and in your best interest to disclose EVERYTHING.  Hemorrhoids will not keep you out, only very sever illnesses or conditions will prevent you from joining.

Keeping in mind your condition, you may want to steer clear of combat MOS, as combat MOS spend a lot of time in the field.  The last thing you want is to have a flareup in the field, in the middle of July, especially if you're doing time anywhere in the south!  Hot and humid!  And, combat units go to the field anywhere from a week to a month at a time and unlike support units, combat units don't have showers!  YIKES!

Not to mention, you want to make sure it's in your medical files because your files will follow you to basic, AIT, and throughout your military career.  Should you have a flare up in Basic Training, you want to make sure it's in your record so you're allowed to go on sick call and get treatment without catching grief from your drill sergeant.

Good luck with your military career.
