  1. Yes, if you know for a fact that the worcester sauce they are using isn't veggie free they should be informed.

  2. You should wean them on to vodka gimlets instead. Extole the virtues of  the vitamin C in lime juice or cordial.

  3. Tell her. She'll find out sooner or later, and she'd rather find out now so she can stop drinking it and find an alternative sooner. The idea of anchovies in her bloody mary has probably never occurred to her, and she deserves to be informed.

  4. If the same person could be "lured into eating chicken" he or she doesn't sound like a vegetarian to me.

  5. Nah, I don't think you should tell them.  I had the same dilemma many years ago when I told my veggie friend that it was good on cheese toasties, and then only realised afterwards that it had anchovies in it!

Any true veggie should surely read the labels of condiments like that...so many of them have random meaty things in.

  6. You should definitely tell them. If you continue letting them consume it you're allowing them to go against their beliefs. You'd be a much better friend if you told the truth :)

  7. i ate a vegetarian that tasted like anchovies

  8. I would, then they can at least make a fully informed decision about it. I'd count you as a good friend if you said something.

  9. if you consider yourself a true friend you should tell them

  10. Yes, you should tell them--if you're a really good friend, which I doubt you are, since you think it's funny that they have been "lured" into eating dead animals when drunk.

I don't know about Tesco, but Whole Foods and most natural foods stores will have vegetarian Worcestershire sauce.   Heck, you can use it for everyone's bloody marys, and they probably won't know.

  11. If they are that into their vegetarianism, they should have figured it out already for themselves.

You don't need to tell them anything.

  12. You can get vegetarian worcestershire sauce

  13. Why haven't they read the ingredients themselves though.

  14. tell him/her

    tell him/her NOW

  15. nah, i told my girls cousin who doesn't eat seafood, that the chinese cheese wontons that he was loving and wolfing down one day had imitation crab in it, he got sick to his stomach and couldn't eat the very thing he loved about the chinese restaurant.   let them find out on their own.  its not going to kill them.

  16. if you want to kill their fun moment then sure.
