Should i the use aireator or filter?

in my 5.6 liter of guppies, it has an aireator... though its kinda loud and alot more mess actually .. so should i get the 1-3 gallon filter or just use the air pump?air pump airiator w.e it is lol.. well which one helps, or would they like more

A filter is more vital. The guppies would need a good quality water so the filter will provide that for them. The air pump will add oxygen and can be used for decoration but, the filter will be more beneficial as the constant flow it creates will also create oxygen.

a filter cleans the water and the aerator just gives the water more oxygen. I would go with the filter to keep your tank clean.
