Should i throw out my jar of smuckers jelly?

opened it 1 day ago and put it back in my cupboard instead of the refridgerator! is it still ok to eat or is it bad?

It should be fine as long as the temperature isn't warm in the cupboard.

It is fine.  The high sugar level protects the fruit from spoiling.  In the days before refrigeration that is where it would have been kept.  That is why they're called preserves.

It should be ok, but just make sure to put it in the fridge. It can grow mold really fast. Check to see if there is mold starting to grow and if it starts smelling funny.
