Here's my current starting lineup:

Stephen Gostkowski

Bench:

Ronnie Brown

Should i go through with the trade?

  1. Yes you should.  CP is an upgrade of Ron Brown.  I'm not high on the Chargers defense at all, so Torry Holt is an upgrade too.

  2. I would do it. You could use Portis for sure, and ronnie Brown is a tandem back at best.

  3. If the other manager is willing, you've got to pull the trigger. It's really a no brainer. Portis is a first-round pick who's the center of the Redskins offense. Holt is a #1 receiver who's put up at least 1,300 yards eight of the last ten years. Defense isn't really all that important. Ronnie Brown is the backup in Miami. You're not really losing anything, but you're gaining everything. Good luck!

  4. The answer is absolutely!  Portis is an upgrade over Ronnie B and it would probably give you one of the best RB rotations in your league.  The Seahawks D could be a Top 5 D this year.  You can plug in another D during their bye week.  Torry Holt is aging, but he can still play!  Make this trade before he reconsiders.

  5. I would go for it.  Based on the scoring in my league, defenses are fairly expendable.  And Brown isn't even starting week one.  Ricky Williams is.  With Brown's uncertain health I would get rid of him given the opportunity.
