Why?

Trading A Rod alone for a catcher is criminal. Even with Ortiz possibly out for the entire year, you do not make this deal straight-up.

Just pick up a catcher from the FA pool, and you'll get similar production to what Molina would give you. Plus, you still have A Rod and Ortiz!
