Im in a league with 1QB, 2RB, 2WR/T, 1WR/RB, 1K, 1D... I have Schaub, Lil Manning for QB... LJ and S. Jackson for RB.. Wayne, Calvin Johnson, Gates, Lee Evans, Brandon Marshall, Ginn Jr for WRs... Ray Rice and Slaton for backup RBs.... I feel as tho that i have enough recievers to trade Gates for another good RB.. what do yall think?

  1. I would say dont trade

  2. Since you can play 3 RB and you only have 2 starting RB's this is basically a straight up trade and Lynch will get you more points than Gates so you should absolutely take it as quickly as you can before the other guy can take the trade offer back

  3. Yes, that is an amazing trade for you.  I can't believe someone would give up lynch for gates.  Lynch is the featured back in Buffalo so he will get all the carries.  Gates is coming off foot surgery and he has said his toe is still bothering him.  You have Wayne and Marshall so you don't even need a TE.  Take that trade right now.

  4. Immediately, Gates is very banged up and honestly healthy wouldn't give you as many points as super stud Lynch

  5. DO IT! Gates might not be healthy all season and even if he is no way he outscores a top RB in most formats. You are solid enough at WR to take this risk and you really lack great depth at RB (plus there are questions with both your starters....is LJ 100% and can that horrendous line and QB give him running room, and S.Jack. needs much the same from his team and missing most of camp often haunts RBs). No way I could pass up that deal with the roster you just posted, take the deal before he backs out (he might read this too, you never know).

  6. I really dont think you will be able to get Lynch for Gates in ANY league.

LJ, you should trade while you still can.

Backup RBS are shaky.......you can do better.

  7. if you are not required to play a TE then make the trade.. but first check the waiver wire. RB R.Williams (mia) will prob start. K.Warner will start and kicked *** last year. P Thomas (RB) and R.Meachwem (WR), both NO may be good as well.

  8. Personally, I would.  That would give you a starting lineup that looks like.

    Schaub

    Jackson

    Lynch

    L.J./Marshall

    Wayne

    Calvin Johnson

With doubts about L.J.'s performance this year (even though he's on my team too) Rice and Slaton may not be up to the task if L.J. gets injured or doesn't show up.  You're receivers look great (not a big fan of Evans, though I have him too) and since there's no need for a TE, go for it. Plus Ginn should start blowing it up after a few weeks into the season, I have high hopes for him.
