Should i trade portis...

Question

should i trade portis and holt, for braylon edwards, derrick mason and laurence maroney? Im thinking about countering with that deal but roy williams instead of mason. any thoughts? my 2 RB would be maroney and marshun lynch. or portis and lynch

counter with Roy Williams instead of Mason and DO IT.

Portis will probably get hurt.

Holt is getting old.

So both of those guys are risky.

Edwards is a STUD

Williams will be a good guy for bye weeks

Maroney is only getting better.

When/If they accept I think you should trade away Roddy or Colston if you're in need of another player at another position

Super Risky dude! Portis has been one of the best backs in the NFL the last few seasons. Unless he gets hurt I promise you that you'll kick yourself for trading him away. Same with Holt. Tory Holt is also still productive although he's on the back end of his career his speed and hands are what keeps him leathal and valuable in FantasyFootball. He's a great compliment to a #2 WR. Edwards is a fantastic WR no doubt. As is Mason. Id be happy with both or either on my team. However, each week those guys are going against the other teams #1 Corner as where Holt lines up in the slot and is usually pitted against the other teams nickel or dime backs sometimes even a Linebacker. Maroney or Lynch are above average backs definately worthy of starting but Id still Pick Portis over them any day.

If you go for the deal counter the deal with Roy Williams instead of Derrick Mason.  Mason is a non factor (Cleveland picked up Donte Stallworth for a reason).  You will be downgrading from Portis to Maroney, but Maroney came on strong in the second half last year and there is not reason that the Pats won't involve him more in the offense.

i would do it b/c unless a running back gets hurt they will get their numbers but top teir receivers have alot of value and u will have leverage when a guys recever goes down and you have a bunch of top ones that u can trade for a hefty sum, but take roy williams because mason is ancient

only do it if you have really bad recievers and really need help ther because maroney is a really big downgrade from portis
