I am in a 8 manager league and we each week we have to play 2 quarterbacks and a defense. We just finished our draft and i am in need of a second starting quarterback. Right now i have tom brady, jake delhomme and jeff garcia, but i don't want to start jake delhomme or jeff garcia. Instead i want to trade for a new QB. Another manager offered me Ben Roethlisberger for the Chargers and i am considering it. The thing is, my back up defense is the Seahawks, and i dont know if they are a good starting defense each week?

Please advise on what to do. Thanks

  1. with Tomlin wanting to throw the ball as much as he does Big Ben is worth much more than The Chargers D and allot better than Jeff Garcia

accept this trade before the other guy comes to his senses

  2. No.  You're better off getting random DSTs every week via free agency who have good match ups.  Ben is a top 10 QB.

  3. GO with Rothlisberger the difference in quarterbacks is greater and more important than the difference in defenses. Quarterbacks are more important. Make the trade!

  4. Jeff Garcia is a good QB, so keep him. As far as the Chargers D goes, they won't be near as good without Shawne Merriman(if in fact he does miss time), but I would hold on to their D until I know for sure what Merriman's status is.

  5. First of all Seattle is a good defense.  Underrated and very good.  San diego may be without Merriman so eff them... Big Ben is a top 5 QB so yeah.. take that immediatly.. Dont drop Delhomme though.. If he is healthy he is a top 10 QB easy.  Garcia can go right where he belongs though and thats the waiver wire!
