  1. I'd do it.  Chipper and A-Rod are pretty even and you get an extra bat.  Even if Chipper's numbers slip in the second half they will still be comparable to A-Rod's numbers.

Edit:  To Patriots...Chipper IS NO FLUKE.  His numbers have been fairly consistent his whole career.

  2. Chipper is having a great season true, but he is too much of an injury risk. Hold on to A-Rod as he has been one of the best fantasy players for the last few years.True Chipper is great, but his numbers do not compare to A-Rods. Do not do this trade, anyone who says yes is a moron.

  3. I would not trade A-Rod for Chipper Jones because even though Chipper Jones hits for average, Chipper Jones doesn't have the power A-Rod does, and also A-Rod can be just as consistent of a hitter as well as anybody in the league, if you trade A-Rod, you can count your money that you will lose a lot more games, and will have less attractiveness to your fantasy team.

  4. No,Alex Rodriguez has just started to heat up over the last month, in the last 30 days,A-Rod has hit 9 home runs driven in 26 RBI's and has hit over .350.Chipper Jones stats are great, but has been hit hard with the injury bug and DeJesus doesn't measure up to A-Rod, since he has consistency problems. If you are a smart fantasy manager, you don't want to make this trade.

  5. I have objection to both of the first two anwers.  The first one cuz Jones isnt a fluke.  He have hit .300+ consistently all throughout his career.  The 2nd answer is wrong cuz its obviosuly not a good trade.  Jones is playing hurt rite now and his numbers are suffering.  Dejesus is still a free agents in many leagues rite now. A-rod is a top 10 fantasy players.  Seriously do not do this trade.  A-rod is a lot better.

  6. OBVIOUSLY NOT A-Rod is having another monstrous year, chipper is a fluke, his average will drop and davis sejesus isnt good. Unless you have a ton of power already don't do it.

  7. I would not do that deal..  Chipper is always a DL spot waiting to happen.  If the Braves fall out any further he'll eventually shut it down for the year i'm sure.  Plus, he's obviously not going to be able to keep up the pace he's on.  ARod is going to be more consistent down the stretch.  If you did decided you want to deal with this guy who's offering the trade - at least try to get a 2nd player better than DeJesus.
