Should i trust him after what he's done to me?

while we have been dating, actually we've been together for four months, i found out that he was dating some other girl! but he loves me not her and they never reached the point where they could be called a boyfriend and a girlfriend (a couple ). so he explained to me that that girl was only a bet his friend challenged him to do, and he will leave her. he left her, i suppose, he showed me some messages on his cell phone showing that they will never talk to each other again. i wanted to leave him but i love him so much to do so. and he won't let me go because he can't live without me as he say. and also we were planning to get married when we graduate from university. so please people, tell me should i trust him again after what he's done to me? how would i know that he wouldn't do that again to me? :(

When you two were dating, were you exclusive? Meaning, did you tell each other that you were just dating each other?

If you were, then him dating someone else while dating you was wrong. It doesn't matter if a friend bet's him to date her or not. He was with you and he should of told his friend that.

I would tell him that if he wants to be with you, he needs to earn back your trust. How would he like if you did that to him?

If you two weren't exclusive, then I would just forget about it and move forward.

Trust him again, but with caution. If you love him so much, and he loves you so much, give it another go. I just wonder if trusting him again is such a good idea for you because if you have to ask others if you should trust him, then it may mean that you are not ready to be back in a relationship in the first place. But give it another shot. If he pulls something else again though, I would dump him. As they say, fool me once, shame on you, but fool me twice, and shame on me.
