so i sent a picture of myself to this website called "one source talent", and the next day a woman e-mailed me saying that she has some things that she can book me to, but she needs to talk to my parents first, and she wants to see us to see if i have any potential.

she didnt mention anything about money, so maybe it isnt a scam?

should i trust this?

  1. its a scam

first of all i have already heard this sight as reference to a scam

second why would an agency have to have people sign up online and interview every single one when they have plenty of clients already mailing them??? there would be no need for them to do that

its a scam trust me you should try getting an agent the old fashioned way like everyone else.............through hard work and years of training

    best of luck!! happy dreaming!!

  2. the next thing they will do is charge your parents 400 dollars to meet with you and put your pic up on some site, and they will encourage you to get crappy headshots with their expensive "professional" photographer.  it is a crime for an agency to charge money.  YES ITS A SCAM.

do your research.  google "one source talent scam" and see what you find.

professional talent agencies have no reason to solicit people with websites and phone calls.  someone who you really want to work with will be choosier and more professional than that.  you need to learn that if it seems fishy, it IS.  if it looks like a duck and quacks like a duck then...

  3. this isn't a scam!!!!!
