  1. Well, you've definitely got the size to play high school ball.  You're about as big as many NFL receivers, but would probably be a linebacker at this level, unless there's a lotta big boys at your school.

You'd be stupid to "try for the big time" without any football experience, but trying out for the school team in the fall would be a good start...

  2. Dude, your only 16 so you still have like 2 years of high school left, so just tryout for your high school team, play there and if you are good enough some colleges will find you and want to get you on there team, and if your good there you will make it to the PROs!!!!    :)                good luck

  3. you probably wont be able to just go join a professional football team never playing football ever.

  4. I didn't start playing until I was 16. I had a fun high school and college career (I played my junior and senior years in high school and my freshman, sophomore, and junior years in college at a US NCAA Division 3 school). Go out for your high school football team and track team. In the summer lift weights like mad. Be patient. It is going to take a couple of years for your skills to gel.

Also the odds of big time football are about 1 in 10,000. I would suggest playing for the fun of it and if opportunities happen, go for it.

  5. If you think you can play then you should go for it and if you don't make the team then don't give up and if you make it GOOD JOB.
