Should i try to get glasses since my sis is the only one?

My sis said i should try to get glasses but then she said when you like buy your glasses try to get contacts and I'm only 8 what should i do help Please i don't know if should realy do it cause my mom and dad might get mad but then my sister will be the only one with glasses and and then ya so whaty do i do?
