is it for the environment ?

Many times i have to wait at traffic lights and someone told me that if the traffic light is red for a minute or more than a minute i should turn off the bike.

Do we save petrol that way or is it good for the environment ?

  1. No, it will be harder on your starter and the minute amout of fuel you may save is verry small

  2. I wouldn't. You want the engine running in case the vehicle coming up behind you doesn't stop and you need to make an evasive move. If you're sitting there trying to start your bike, you may end up a hood ornament.

  3. no not for  100 sec wait

  4. No, Turning of your bike and turning it on again, can consume more petrol and energy  than waiting while your bike is on. Put your bike in the neutral and dont reeve it up while waiting for the light.

Whats good for the environment? A clean carburator and a clean oil emits cleaner gas.
