  1. Yes, you should.  The Bberry 8130 Pearl from Sprint is actually better than the T-Mobile Pearl as in it has more room for Memory (up to 8Gb, compared to 2), the 2.0mp camera and camcorder, Stereo Bluetooth (2.0) and of course GPS capabilities which if you pair it with the new Unlimited Plan, it includes the Sprint Nav software which is pretty easy to use, or you can download the free Google maps which is pretty neat too.  Also if you have a gmail or yahoo e-mail account you can actually get it directly into the Bberry without having to go in and checking it as in the Centro.

The Curve from Sprint has the same capabilities as the Pearl but has a bigger screen, but the difference in price with your discount actually brings it to 179.99 after 100 Mail In Rebate, compared to 99.99 for the Pearl after 100 MIR.

    Hope it helps :)

  2. You could do that, or you could purchase a Bluetooth GPS receiver and pair it with the Centro. That way you would still reserve your $150 upgrade but still have GPS functionality.

I purchased my current Houlx GPSlim for about $70. I have it paired with my BlackBerry Pearl 8120 on T-Mobile.
