Should i use after market cooling for my cpu?

I am planning to buy a Q9550 Intel cpu.

I dont plan to overclock it, but i will be doing lots of gaming. My case will already be extremely cool. But even with all this shoul i buy an aftermarket cooling fan for my cpu?

  1. Aftermarket cooling is without a doubt better in every way. Well, good ones that is. They keep your CPU running cooler, thus, prolonging the life span of it and they're quieter.

    Xigmatek's HDT-S1283 has amazing value for the cost. The OCZ Vendetta 2 is arguably one of the best air coolers out at the moment.

    Since you'll be gaming a lot, the loud and whiny stock cooler might distract you. Aftermarket coolers utilizing 120mm fans are very quiet.
