Should i visit an optician, if i want to use contact leneses?

You should go see an optometrist first.

Opticians normally dispense the lenses or glasses.

The optometrist will actually fit you for lenses.

Many times they will have both in the same office though.

Simple answer...yes.  Visit your eye-care practitioner for fitting and aftercare and certainly if you have any concerns about the health of your eyes.  

But just because your practitioner looks after the health of your eyes doesn't mean you also have to buy your lenses from him.  Ask for your contact lens prescription and shop around, it is your right to have it.
