it doesn't matter the brand dear.  they're sweats.  if you want to look like you just crawled out of bed then wear them, but i agree with the girl above me.  you want to look good, but relaxed then put on a pair of cute jeans but don't do the sweats.

I'm assuming you mean to school/college, but I'd say anything would do. I could care less what brand it is.

So wear whatever you want.

Why not. Sweats aren't made like they use to be. They are made for fashion and a neat nice appearance. I have seen many abercrombee (don't think spelled right) capri sweats and they are definitely not your average sweats you wear to look sloppy. Wear them with a cute tee or polo and a hoodie (if wanted.) and you will look great.

I see people who wear professional clothes, jeans, etc and look sloppy.

I wear nice track sets almost everyday and I look far from sloppy.

you know i could get the ugly-est color green in the world and write abercrombiee and people like you would buy it for about 40$ its so messed up

Wear the capris if that's what looks good on you and it gives the impression, according to your school culture, that you want to give. My niece, a cheerleader flyer, but not one of those preppy types, wears those a&f fleece capris to school and looks really cute. She cares about fashion and has tons of nice clothes, and it's sort of a s****. school.

And hey, if it turns out to be a fashion faux pas, it's only one day, no big deal. Wear what you want. = )

No. I only wear sweats at home or on exam days because otherwise I feel sloppy.

maybe not the "first day" but an other day would be fine! i used to make my own dress down days at school last year and where fleece pants and a hoody.  It didnt look sloppy at all because the way the clothes fit.  And alot of people loved my outfits too! The comfy look is great at school or college!

i wouldn't wear them for the first day

but if you aren't feeling good one day or you just feel lousy i'd wear them...there's nothing wrong with wearing a comfy pair of pants to school!
